Ultrasonic Technology
Energy from high-frequency sound waves
Vigorous microscopic implosions of tiny vapor bubbles
Millions of scrubbing bubbles do the job for you!
Ultrasonic cleaners facilitate removal of organic material, decreasing the risk of contaminants inhibiting sterilization

Temperature
Increased temperature in the cleaning solution causes an increase in vapor pressure, which enhances the cavitational ability. Temperatures between 110° Fahrenheit and 130° Fahrenheit are usually indicated in water-based cleaning solutions.

Enzyme Solutions
Fluids must have a high surface tension so the bubble will have a heavier walled balloon that will blow it up higher before it pops. When the bubble does pop, it has greater energy.
The surface tension also needs to be low enough so the bubble will penetrate the small cavities.
The solution must manage the debris. It must emulsify it like blood or knock it off and hold it in solution.
A no-sudsing or low-sudsing enzyme cleaner will not interfere with the cavitational action of the ultrasonic cleaner.
3 Types of Enzymes for Ultrasonics
    1. Protease for proteins
    2. Lipase for Fats
    3. Amylase for starches

Irrigation
Adding Irrigation to Ultrasonics & Enzymes equals a complete and highly effective method of cleaning the inside and the outside of all cannulated instruments to facilitate the sterilization process.
Benefits of Irrigation:
The addition of an internal irrigation function allows flushing through the instrument removing the loosened debris.
It is important to understand that the function of irrigation is only to remove debris by flushing.
The slower the water moves through the instruments the better the ultrasonic cavitation cleans.
An ultrasonic irrigator is not a pressure washer, that is to say that if the irrigation pressure is set high it will eliminate the effectiveness of the ultrasonics.
The water flow should be set as low as possible to profit from optimal benefits of both ultrasonics and irrigation.
