Dual Basin Models
Our dual basin ultrasonic cleaning systems’ multiplicity provides dual modes of operation that allows it to operate as a cannulated irrigator or as a straight ultrasonic. These floor models are available to clean as few as 24 instruments and as many as 48 instruments at one time. Verification options offered on the Model 1150 and Model 1522 cleaning systems.
Ultra Clean Systems will assist in designing or manufacturing instrument adapters on instruments that require assistance in connecting to the Ultra Clean manifold. The Instrument Connection Assistance Program may be used as often as needed and has no expiration. Cabinets are warranted against rusting during the life of the product under normal use.
Advanced Cleaning & Environmental Action:
Ultrasonic cavitation between 30-35 khz provides the increased ultrasonic action required to further promote cannulated instrument cleaning. A thermostatically controlled heater warms the water to 90-100 degrees Fahrenheit for optimum enzymatic reaction and keeps it at that temperature range throughout the working shift. Once the water reaches optimum temperature, the heater turns on and off as necessary to maintain the appropriate temperature range while conserving energy.
Benefit Summary:
- Increases productivity of SPD technicians.
- Increases consistency of cleaning the internal areas of surgical instruments.
- Reduces risks to staff from airborne and bloodborne pathogens created by manual brushing.
- Reduces risk to patients from exposure to cross contaminants for better quality care.
- Reduces the time spent manually trying to clean places that cannot be seen or reached.
- Reduces internal and external instrument damage caused by manually brushing, tapping or bending.
- Reduces instrument repair budgets.
