PrintBacteria

Help promote safe cleaning conditions for SPD personnel, as well as improve patient safety and destroy microbes early in the instrument-cleaning process. Every Triton machine is designed with a specialized UV water treatment system, which kills microorganisms through ultraviolet germicidal irradiation.

It’s a fact that UV light energy helps to reduce infection by killing bacteria. Ultra Clean Systems is the only company that brings you this added safety feature for both you and the patients you protect from infection.

Water that enters the basin is deactivated from many types of harmful microbes. When cleaning lumen instruments, recirculated water continuously works to kill bacteria, thus making your instruments safer much earlier in the cleaning process.

Automatic Single Basin Ultrasonic Cleaning System

da Vinci Validated and approved to clean robotic instruments.Designed to keep up with the hectic schedule of today’s central sterile departments, UCS proudly offers the Triton 36, which is capable of cleaning even the longest robotic instruments. This workhorse ultrasonic cleaning system provides higher throughput with its ability to clean more instruments in less time, which helps your department run more efficiently. Titanium Rod Transducer (TRT) technology promotes better cavitation than standard ultrasonics.

The Triton 36 is the ultimate in surgical instrument cleaning with its UV water deactivator. The incoming and recirculated water is treated with ultraviolet energy to deactivate bacteria and viruses. A pneumatic air cylinder safely controls the raising and lowering of the work tray elevator. This eliminates the need for operators to reach into the tank of contaminated solution and reduces back strain.

Titanium Rod Transducer Technology

Titanium Rod Transducer Technology

Titanium Rod Transducer (TRT) Technology

Ultra Clean Systems continues to raise the standard in the world of ultrasonic instrument cleaning by offering Titanium Rod Transducer technology. TRT technology produces a high cavitation energy output, reducing cleaning times and enhancing efficiency. This industry-leading technology is ideal for cleaning complex instruments, including those used in laparoscopic, orthopedic, ophthalmic, and robotic surgeries.

Thanks to its surgical grade titanium transducer and direct-in-water energy injection, the TRT features:

• Reduced cleaning times compared to bonded transducers

• More cleaning power, reduced wash-cycle time, and helps eliminate bottlenecks

• 8- to 13-minute ultrasonic cleaning cycle

• 15-minute da Vinci® cycle

• Longer machine life

• Less maintenance, reducing down time and associated costs

• Thorough cleaning allows you to keep your sets together

The result? Cleaning cycle times are reduced by 5 minutes and the need for degassing is completely eliminated, yielding a total time reduction of ten minutes.

Older and less efficient ultrasonic cleaning systems pass their energy from a series of surface-mounted transducers via a bonding agent, through the metal basin and into the water. This results in a power loss of around 20%. With the new TRT technology, this power loss is greatly reduced, thus the cleaning cycles are significantly shortened, allowing instruments to be readied for the next case.

Energy radiates in all directions,
eliminating cold spots

Cold spots are depicted in blue (between energy fields)

Additionally, this patented technology is less stressful for both your vital instruments and the cleaning machine itself. The increased and sometimes violent agitation in previous processes caused wear and tear. By using the TRT, you can extend the life expectancy of your vital equipment and instrumentation.

Lubricants

Lubricants

Our instrument lubricants are specially formulated to extend the life of your delicate instruments. They form a protective coating over your laparoscopic and other delicate surgical tools while simultaneously enhancing their function and restoring range of motion. Lubricants come in a variety of formats, including Ultra Clean Surgical Milk, Ultra Clean Surgical Milk Concentrate, and Ultra Clean Spray Lube.

Ultra Clean Surgical Milk

Ultra Clean Surgical Milk is a ready-to-use pre-autoclave instrument dip with a wide variety of important capabilities. It can:

  • Restore movement and extend the life of all steel, carbide, tungsten, aluminum, and diamond dental rotary instruments
  • Keep laparoscopic instruments in peak working condition
  • Help hand instruments stay sharper longer, requiring less upkeep

Ultra Clean Surgical Milk Concentrate

Just like the name implies, this powerful instrument dip is the life’s blood for maintaining your delicate surgical instruments.

This highly concentrated formula is easy-to-measure and helps your instruments perform better longer with the benefit of additional cost savings to you.

Ultra Clean Spray Lube

Ultra Clean Spray Lube is a ready-to-use spray lubricant that extends the life of surgical instruments. This nontoxic, nonoily, and nonsticky spray lube forms a protective barrier around apparatus, ensuring the long-term function of critical box locks, hinges, jaws, and joints.

Transport Gel

Transport Gel

This triple enzyme spray gel is your first step in the decontamination process.

Simply spray this gel on your laparoscopic and hand instruments immediately following a procedure. This product will prevent blood and tissue from drying on the apparatus, thus making the instrument easier to clean later.

Ultra Clean Transport Gel is an enzymatic gel that evenly coats the apparatus and begins breaking down debris. Unlike many instrument transport foams, Ultra Clean Transport Gel will not dissolve, leaving the instruments dry and hard to clean.

Ultra Clean Transport Gel is:

  • pH neutral
  • Ready to use
  • Reduces heavy instrument transport weight
  • Minimizes potential exposure due to splashing
  • Meets guidelines for first level decontamination

Monitors

Monitors

Our Wash-Checks monitors are specifically designed to verify that your instruments are properly cleaned.

While we know ultrasonic cleaning machines and washer-disinfectors are extremely effective, routinely verifying that your instruments have been cleaned is paramount to patient safety and vital to following the AAMI ST79 guidlines.

Wash-Checks (Red)

  1. Check your washer-disinfector system effectiveness with a consistent monitor
  2. Low-cost monitor promotes routine use; we recommend one monitor in each basket of instruments washed

Wash-Checks U (Blue)

Wash-Checks are specifically designed to verify that your instruments have been properly cleaned. The Wash-Checks U was created to monitor ultrasonic cleaning equipment performance.

Wash-Checks Holder

These durable, stainless steel holders are designed to house your Wash-Checks. Simply dropping your Wash-Checks in the instrument basket doesn’t ensure that they will remain in the proper position to monitor the cleaning process. The holders maintain both proper viewing angles and the direction that are most ideal for function of the Wash-Checks.

Trays

Trays

If a faster turnaround of instruments is what you need but you’re not quite ready for a bigger or additional cleaning machine, ordering another tray could solve your problem.

Our trays are instrumental in washing, rinsing, and air purging instruments in one cycle. This promotes safer practices by allowing multiple decontamination stages to be performed with less handling of the instrument by the operator. It also promotes longer instrument life by saving the instrument from the operator. These trays also allow the operator to keep the entire set of instruments together by placing the hand or flat instruments in the tray first, then connecting the lumen instruments.

 The Triton Series Trays

Trays for every robotic series

Every Triton tray can process up to 10 robotic or lumen instruments.

With our custom adapters and Robotic Arm Cleaning System trays (RACS), every robotic instrument can be processed.

The benefit of keeping the set together means that after the decontamination process is finished, the entire set goes to the clean side of the department to be sterilized at the same time. With our competitors, only the lumen instruments get cleaned in the machine, so the flat instruments get to the clean side first. When that happens, the staff has to wait on the lumens that go in the set to finish being decontaminated.
